Permaculture Plan
For this project, Gaby designed and supervised a Permaculture Master Plan for a two-acre coastal property, transforming a wooded landscape into a thriving permaculture hobby farm. The design prioritized water management, integrating swales and rain catchment to optimize irrigation. Soil regeneration strategies, including composting and cover cropping, were implemented to enhance fertility. Thoughtfully planned zones placed high-maintenance crops and animals near the home, while a food forest and low-maintenance systems occupied the outer areas. Over time, the landscape evolved into a self-sustaining ecosystem, blending food production with native ecology.
